Tendy Talk Episode 6 – Maria Mountain
For episode 6 of Tendy Talk I chat with off-ice goalie training guru Maria Mountain. Maria is well known in the goaltending community for her daily social media posts sharing new stretches, workouts, and insights on how goalies of all ages and skill levels can maximize their training. She even has an app for goalies to download on their smartphone and use to improve their mobility on and off the ice. Maria’s positive attitude and thirst for knowledge is contagious. It is hard not to be smiling and in a good mood after talking, or even listening to her. One of the coolest things about Maria is that after she started working with so many goalies she made the decision to start playing the position so she could better understand the stresses goalies put on their bodies and talk to other goalies about it.
