After dropping the Spring/Summer season-opening game with a sub goalie 8-7 the Sentinels were looking to bounce back against the Duck Daddies, a team that beat them the last time they squared off thanks to the help of some ringers.
This game was a tight one for the first half until the Sentinels opened the scoring midway through the game. They didn’t let up, scoring 5 en route to a 5-1 win. The lone Duck Daddies goal came on a third-period power play.
Strong defense, winning races to loose pucks, and determination was the difference maker. The Sentinels outshoot the Duck Daddies 45-31.
