For Episode 54 of Tendy Talk presented by the BLPA Podcast Network and The Hockey Podcast Network, I chat with NYPD goalie Mike Nano. If you watched ESPN's coverage of the FDNY/NYPD hockey game prior to the 20th anniversary of 9/11 you saw Mike faceoff against last week's guest FDNY goalie Kurt Pflumm in an exciting game. It was fun talking to Mike and learning about his journey in hockey, and learning about his background with the police department. Listening to Mike I think we forget just how much police departments do in larger cities to keep us safe. It was also a lot of fun to hear his take on the FDNY/NYPD game from a few weeks ago, not to mention his thoughts of being run by my former college teammate Jim Becker of the FDNY.
