2019 Top Saves & Stats
My 2019 season ended earlier than I would have liked as I had to shut things down midway through the fall campaign after I sprained my MCL. I felt the pop in a game, could hardly walk the next day, and a few days later finally saw a doctotor. There was worry I may have torn ligaments, but an MRI easied our worries and just showed a sprain – still not fun though. I’m healing nicely, but still have a few weeks before I’ll be cleared for on-ice activities. By the time I’ll be cleared to play again, our fall season will be over. Since my 2019 playing days are done, I compiled a (quite lengthy) season highlight with the top 10 saves of the year in the end. Let me know your favorite save.
In 2019 I stopped 1,081 pucks, went 11-17-4 overall with a 5.81 goals against average. I made some pretty epic saves along the way too that were worth revisiting. While I call this a top ten, I added some honorable mention saves too that just couldn’t be ignored.
