For episode 15 of the Tendy Talk podcast I chat with the first goaltender who listened to my podcast and followed my plea at the end of each episode for those who are a goalie or know one I should connect with to reach out to me. Both California (Cali) and her husband reached out to me saying I should talk to her. Cali, better known as Teeny Tendy or Coach California on Instagram and I talked about playing hockey in California both in Lake Taho and the San Jose area, how and why she picked up the position of goaltender later in life, changing her fitness training from a strength training regimen to one that complimented her new passion of goaltending, and why she became a Lift the Mask ambassador and shares her mental health struggles and journey with others.
