Tendy Talk Episode 17 – Kane Van Gate
Lining up a time to chat with the legendary Kane Van Gate for an episode of Tendy Talk wasn’t easy. I had multiple layers of ‘his people’ to go through, but honestly, I think it was his niece and nephew we saw in his movie Kane Van Gate’s Hockey Journey. Eventually, we got time on our calendars though, and KVG and I had a great conversation and agreed that we need to get together next time he is in Minnesota.
All joking aside I think it can be said that KVG is a true ambassador not only of the position but the game of hockey. As much as KVG likes to come off as aloof, he knows the position well and is doing his part to spread his knowledge to young goaltenders in the St. Louis area.
