Tendy Talk Episode 56 – Michael Ullmer

For Episode 56 of Tendy Talk presented by the BLPA Podcast Network and The Hockey Podcast Network, I chat with Michael Ullmer, a goalie I first crossed paths with when we faced off against each other at the 2019 Sota Stick Hockey Classic at the Super Rink.

A US Army veteran, Michael has been active playing on warrior hockey teams made up solely of veterans of the armed services. We talk about how those teams helped him adjust after two tours, one in Afghanistan, the other in Iraq. Find a warrior team near you.

Michael and I also touch on the back and forth we’ve had trash talking before facing off in the Sota Stick Hockey classic, and most recently when we were supposed to play each other in the Goons 4 Good tournament before I had to bow out due to a nephew’s wedding.
