Hosers vs. Ancorail
Going into what will be my last regular-season game of the 2022 MNWAHL Winter Season both me, and the team needed a win to guarantee a winning record, and to secure the number six seed heading into the playoffs. We’ve played Anorail plenty of times, but I also know they’ve moved up a division and down a few times so they can play – even though they were behind us in the standings. I wasn’t anticipating 58 shots though. 😳 Despite being peppered – 27 shots in the first period alone, I was having a game, stopping 54 of the shots as we went on to win 5-4. I had a -1.54 expected goals against according to the Stop It Goaltending Game Day app. The team plays again this coming week, but I’ll be out of town. We then have the Easter weekend off before starting the playoffs.
