Dump Stars vs Polar Bears
After a slow start to the season, the Dump Stars are coming together. We fell in the standings but our matchup against the higher-ranked Polar Bears put the league on notice that we’re clicking on all cylinders.
You would have thought that a first-period offensive explosion of 6 goals would have meant we took our foot off the gas, but we put 42 shots on goal, scoring on 12 of them!
The Polar Bears didn’t roll over though, fighting back after scoring their first goal at the midpoint in the game, they scored 5 on 42 shots of their own.
The 12-5 win moved us up into a 4th-place playoff spot in the standings with 5 games left in the season.
