Coming off a disappointing tie the game before, we wanted to return to the win column, but knew we’d have to work for it as we were playing the second-place team in the league, a team we previously shut out despite them putting 49 shots on goal.
The Ice Zombies outshot us again 40 to 37, but we managed to score 8 en route to an 8-4 victory. Some of the 36 saves made had an old-school flair to them, and an Ice Zombie player may have gotten frustrated late in the game.
