Dump Stars vs Norsemen
We dominated the start of this game, the last regular season game of the summer AAHL season. We had 11 shots on goal and a 1-0 lead before I saw my first shot halfway through the first period. We outplayed the Norsemen, outshooting them 47-36, but their goal stood on his head and kept them in the game. A
late 3rd period goal broke up my chance at a shut out as we held on to win 3-1. My expected goals-against average was 3.81, so even though I wasn’t tested nearly as much as my opponent, I still needed to be on top of my game to help us win and secure first place for the regular season.
