Hosers vs. GMI Generals
We won’t talk about the final score of this game against the GMI Generals and my buddy Shawn. It was so bad I’m not even sharing the final score.
To put it lightly, my team didn’t come ready to play. I blame the first nice day in a long time in Minnesota for the loss, and beer because the weather was so nice it was hard not to be outside enjoying a nice cold beer. It’s because of this I can’t fault the boys for the way they played in front of me.
I did make a few OK saves though. At one point I had three gray GMI Generals jerseys in front of me, and no blue Hosers jerseys. It was that kind of night. The first goal scored on me was a third rebound shot. I did everything I could short of controlling my rebounds better. An active glove, some tenacity to poke check when I could, and poise on a breakaway helped keep the score from being a complete embaressment.
