Hosers vs Frozen Debt
Well, my son hit record on the GoPro for our fall MNWAHL game against Frozen Debt this week, but he had it on the timelapse setting instead of video making for a trippy highlight video. An honest mistake for a kid. That being said I had a solid game, making some big saves, and my teammates played possibly our best game of the season as we won 5-3 behind my 34 save performance.
Because of the timelapse snafu this week’s highlights look like a stop motion super long gif. The last save of the video was probably my favorite as I ended up reaching out with a fully extended poke check in an effort to keep the puck out of the net.
Next time I have my boy place my GoPro behind the net I’ll be sure to check the settings to make sure the camera is on regular video and not slow-motion or timelapse. There are a time for both those settings, but recording a hockey game is not one of them.
