Tendy Talk Episode 13 – Vintage Goalie
For episode 13 of Tendy Talk I spoke to fellow backyard ice rink builder and creator of the Vintage Goalie Brand Matt. While Matt and I had never talked other than exchanging messages on Instagram prior to our conversation it sure felt like two old teammates reconnecting after not talking for a few years. It was also fun to hear the passion and romanticism Matt has for the position. I’ve been a fan of the Vintage Goalie brand for some time as I think Matt is able to capture the essence of what it means to be a goalie from a time when the puck actually hurt when it hit you. I’m proud to wear my Vintage Goalie hat and t-shirt to the rink and around town. Our time was limited due to scheduling constraints, but that’s ok – it’s just an excuse to record a future episode together.
