Ice Jacks vs Kreme De La Kremlin
n the 2021 MNWAHL regular-season finale we struggled against the Kreme De La Kremlin, losing 6-2. It didn’t help that I started the game off with a turnover that resulted in an easy goal. Outside of the first goal, I didn’t play badly. I could have had better rebound control (had I known a guy was standing all alone on the backdoor). That being said I still finished the regular season with a disappointing sub 80.00 save percentage.
We head into the playoffs set to square off against team PTBNL, a team we’ve beaten twice, but both games were high-scoring close games so I’ll need to be on my game if we want a chance to move onto the next round. Our 5-5 record in league play is really a 5-3 record as we had two forfeits because we knew we wouldn’t have enough guys to skate. If we can get everyone to show up to the playoff games we have a real shot at new championship t-shirts this fall season. We will have to wait to see how it plays out.
