Hosers vs. The Money Shot
This was a hard-fought game by the boys. We didn’t have much puck luck in this one as the Money Shot got three of their six goals off lucky bounces, and we missed converting one two or three opportunities because they got the bounces in their defensive end as well. One could say it just wasn’t our game.
That being said I don’t feel like I played bad as I stopped 26 shots, and the team battled hard to come from behind and tie the game in the final two minutes of the game 6-6.
There is just something about our games against The Money Shot. Sometimes we show up to play and beat a team that is overall a better team, but then there are nights where we don’t show up and loose to a team that plays down to our level and is beatable. This was one of those odd games where we played hard, but just didn’t pull out the W.
Being down multiple goals, and battling back we’ll take the tie.
