For episode 7 of Tendy Talk I talk to self-described career healthy scratch and Minnesota Wild emergency backup goaltender (EBUG) Connor Beaupre. It came up in discussion that his dad Don may have spent some time in the NHL as well – like over 600 games. We talked about how he landed the gig as an Emergency Backup Goalie, how his job allows him the flexibility to perform the duties of the role of EBUG and make some of those morning skates he gets called for, and just a lot of goalie talk that happens when two goalies get together. We even touched upon what it was like growing up surrounded by titans of the game, how his dad decided to play for the North Stars alumni team for the Stadium Series that was played in Minnesota
