SotaStick.com vs Green Blazers
My buddy Landon from SotaStick.com reached out to me to see if I could sub for his team. They happened to be skating on the same rink right before my game so I said sure. Team SotaStick.com plays 2 divisions up from the one my team the Hosers play in so I wasn’t sure how the game would go, especially when I saw we only had seven skaters.
The fellas did a great job allowing me to see the shots – all 39 that I faced in the game. I stopped 37 of them in a 7-2 victory. The Stop It Goaltending Game Day app says my expected goals against for the game based on the shot situations should have been 5.37 so I was -3.37 which was awesome. That difference could have been higher as there was a player in the crease on the first goal, but with only one ref who was situated near the blue line the goal stood.
